Melissa recently hosted a viewing of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so I made her a wee (killer) rabbit.
Look at the bones! (Well, if I'd had any prop bones. Vegetarian chicken isn't that realistic, alas.)
Made with a 3.5mm (size E) crochet hook using some decades-old Caron baby yarn that someone gave to me. (I receive a lot of supplies from people who are clearing out deceased old ladies' stashes.) The bunny pattern is by Darncat Crochet and the grenade was crocheted freeform.

Toothless the Night Fury
I took my daughter and mother-in-law -- both dragon lovers -- to see How to Train Your Dragon. Here is Toothless the Night Fury in Lion Brand Cotton Ease from a pattern by =FeatheredDragon.
The original wings didn't turn out to my satisfaction, so I made my own pattern based on HP's free papercraft models. Those ended up long to the point of unwieldiness; if I make another, it's back to the wing drawing board.
My mother-in-law took him with her when she went back to Germany, so he's a European dragon now.
